Funfetti mug cake is typically a fluffy white vanilla cake with lots of rainbow sprinkles mixed into the cake batter.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2-3 tbsp Granulated Sugar (or to taste)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1/4th tsp baking powder
- 1/4th tsp vanilla essence
- Microwave safe mug
Instructions
- Take butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave it for 20-30 seconds until it melts.
- Now take a microwave-safe mug.
- Add 4 tbsp of maida/ all-purpose flour.
- 2-3 tbsp of granulated sugar.
- Now add the melted butter.
- After adding the butter, add 3 tbsp milk.
- Baking powder.
- Vanilla essence.
- And last but not the least, add the sprinkles.
- Mix the batter with a fork until smooth.
- The mug cake batter is ready.
- Place it in the microwave.
- And microwave it for about 1.30 - 2 minutes. Do not over-cook or it will turn hard and chewy.
- After 1-2 minutes, our mug cake is ready.
- Add some more sprinkles and serve it hot, or let it cool down, add some frosting and then serve.
