Mango Shake Recipe (Low Calorie)| Mango Smoothie| Chilled and Refreshing Milkshake in minutes

Mangoes are usually known as “King of Fruits“. They are one of the most delicious fruits and are also full of nutrients.

Mangoes are rich in Vitamin C that boosts the immunity, Vitamin E, Vitamin B6, iron, potassium and magnesium. It also has antioxidants that help the body to fight against the free radicals.

There are almost 100s of varieties of mangoes, out of which, a few are very common, namely Alphonsos/Hapus, Badami, Chausa, Langra, Banganapalli, Dasheri etc.

In summer, mango is one fruit that can be found in every home. It is the favourite fruit of almost every individual.  There are many different ways in which it can be consumed, be it like a juice, a shake, a pudding, a cake, an ice-cream, or simply cut into slices, etc.

Mango Shake is one of the most tempting and loved drink during the summer season as it makes you feel full and refreshing. There are different variants of making mango shake, but I like it sweet and simple, with not too much of calorie intake.

In this recipe, I am only going to use 3 ingredients i.e. Mango, Sugar and Milk (toned milk), turning them into a yummy and creamy milkshake.

NOTE: This recipe is made keeping in mind that not too much of calories are involved. But you can always add things according to your choices.

Different variants that can be used:-

  1. Full Cream Milk:- you can add full cream milk instead of toned milk to make it more rich.

  1. Whipped Cream:- you can also add whipped cream to the shake before serving.

  1. Ice- cream:- adding vanilla ice-cream or mango ice-cream while blending, definitely makes the shake more creamy, rich and thick.( Note:- don’t use any other ice-cream flavour as only these two go well with Mango Shake.)

  1. Ice Cubes:- I have used chilled water but, if you like more chilled milkshake, you can add 2-3 ice cubes during blending and also while serving the Mango Shake.
