Paneer Pakora recipe| Cottage Cheese Fritters| Teatime Snacks

Paneer Pakora is a perfect evening snack, with a crispy layer covering the soft and moist paneer or cottage cheese.

Paneer pakora is a popular snack loved by almost all Indians, especially during monsoons & winters. This delicious pakora is made with paneer, gram flour and some spices.

In Indian cuisine, we have different varieties of pakoras that are made with veggies, lentils, paneer or cheese- like: – aloo pakora, malabar spinach pakoras, cheese pakora, onion pakora, palak patta pakora, bread pakora, etc.

Pakoras‘ or ‘Pakodas‘ are fried fritters made by dipping different veggies/cheese into a batter and then deep-frying them. In India, we usually prepare this batter with gram flour and some Indian spices.

Paneer Pakora is a popular & most loved variety of pakoras, present on the menu of most of the Indian restaurants and along with the paneer pakora, assorted pakoras are also very popular and can be found on the menu along with paneer pakora.

Serve these delicious and crispy pakoras as a tea-time or evening snack, along with a cup of hot coffee/tea, or you can also serve them for dinner along with roti and chutney.

In my family, “pakoras + roti + chutney” is a perfect combo for dinner. Roti/ chapati neutralizes the oil of the pakoras and reduces the chance of acidity /gas caused by eating oily food.
