How to make delicious Chicken Curry Restaurant style | Chicken Gravy| Masala Chicken. Step by Step recipe with images at each step: –
Ingredients: –
For marination:-
- Chicken -1 kg
- Curd- 1 cup
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Kasturi methi
For the gravy: –
- Oil – 5-6 tbsp
- Onion – 4 chopped
- Tomato – 4 chopped
- Ginger- garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1.5 tsp
- Chicken masala – 1 tbsp
- Cashew – 10-12
- Salt to taste
- Kasturi methi
- Water to adjust the consistency of the gravy
- Fresh coriander for garnishing
Method: –
Marinating the Chicken: –
- Add curd, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and kasturi methi to the chicken and mix well in a large mixing bowl.
Preparing the Chicken Gravy: –
- Take a kadhai and dry roast the cashews.
- Roasted cashews.
- Now take a mixer jar and add 4 chopped tomatoes along with the roasted cashews.
- Grind it into a smooth puree.
- Heat oil in a kadhai.
- Add the chopped onions.
- Cook the onions until they turn golden brown.
- Add the ginger garlic paste and cook for another minute.
- Add the dry spices and cook for a few minutes.
- Now add the marinated chicken and mix well.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until the chicken is almost cooked.
- Add the tomato puree and mix well.
- Cover and cook for another 5-6 minutes.
- Add salt to taste.
- Cook for another 5-6 minutes.
- Add the kasturi methi and mix well.
- After 1-2 minutes add water to adjust the consistency.
- Cover and cook for 5-10 minutes depending on the tenderness of the chicken.
- Chicken in Restaurant style is ready.
- Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve with rotis or rice.
